Its folding angle consistency is approximately within ±2 degrees, meeting the needs of most functional packaging.
The three-fold machine improves folding precision to ±0.5–0.8 mm, ensuring high consistency in three-sided folding through precise guiding systems and pressure control. Advanced three-fold machines are equipped with angle sensors and real-time adjustment systems, allowing folding angle deviations to be controlled within ±1 degree, providing better product display and protection.
The four-fold machine represents the highest standard in blister folding precision, with advanced models capable of achieving ±0.3 mm folding accuracy and ±0.5-degree angle control. This level of precision ensures perfect alignment of four-sided folds, making gaps almost invisible when the packaging box is closed. Some top-tier four-fold machines also incorporate laser measurement systems to monitor the folding process in real time and make fine adjustments, ensuring consistency in mass production.
Surface finish quality is another important consideration. The pressure distribution during folding in two-fold machines is relatively simple, which may lead to uneven material stretching at the creases. Three-fold machines, with optimized pressure curves, reduce stress concentration in the material. Four-fold machines employ multi-stage pressure control and heat-assisted technology, ensuring sharp and clear creases while preserving the material surface intact, meeting the visual and tactile requirements of high-end packaging.
